Samsun Provincial Police Chief Ahmet Arıbaş met with representatives of the public transportation sector in Bafra district.

An information and evaluation meeting for the public transportation sector was held in Bafra district under the chairmanship of Samsun Provincial Police Chief Ahmet Arıbaş. Representatives of minibus lines, taxi minibus lines, commercial taxis, service vehicles and municipal buses attended the meeting. At the meeting, the participants were informed on various issues by the teams of Bafra District Police Department, Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate, Public Order Branch Directorate, Information Technologies and Communications Branch Directorate and Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch Directorate. Issues such as increasing security in public transportation vehicles, effective use of in-car camera systems, complying with traffic rules, combating pirated transportation, precautions to be taken in school buses, not picking up and dropping off passengers outside of stops, and ensuring the technical competence of the vehicles were discussed.

At the meeting, the importance of the support of the public transportation sector in the fight against crime and criminals was also emphasized, and it was emphasized that suspicious situations should be reported to the security units without delay. While information was provided to raise awareness within the scope of the fight against narcotic crimes, participants were also informed about the use of SLEEP and Hayat 112 applications. After receiving the opinions and suggestions of sector representatives, the meeting ended with mutual consultations.
