Two people died in Hatay’s Iskenderun district when a motorcycle overturned after the driver lost control. After citizens who witnessed the accident reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams, arriving quickly, provided first aid and transported the seriously injured to the hospital. Despite all efforts at the hospital, Mehmet Örnek and Yunus Yıldırım could not be saved and died.

In Gümüşhane, a man attempting to cross the road was killed on the spot after being hit by a car. The accident occurred on the Gümüşhane-Kelkit highway, near the Aşağı Alıçlı village in the Gümüşhane city center.

According to the information obtained, the car with the registration number 44 ADA 448, driven by Kerim Ö. (40), was traveling from Gümüşhane towards Kelkit when it struck Resul Çelik (52), a father of three, who was trying to cross the road.

Severely injured by the impact, Resul Çelik died at the scene. Upon notification, health, gendarmerie, and crime scene investigation teams were dispatched to the area. Following the investigations by the teams, the body of the unfortunate man, who was learned to be a religious official at a mosque, was taken to the morgue for autopsy. Following the instructions of the on-duty public prosecutor, crime scene investigation teams began their work, while the driver was taken into custody.
